WEs wright — senior minister
Dr. Wes Wright has been the Lead Minister at Santa Clara Church since 2008. Wes earned his Masters of Divinity in Theology and Philosophy at Lincoln Christian University in 1988, and his Doctorate of Ministry at Covenant Theological Seminary in 1999. With a deep love for learning and education, Wes has been an instructor at both St. Louis Christian College and Bushnell University (formerly Northwest Christian University). His courses have included an array of subjects including Leadership, Bible and Theology, Discipleship, History, and Religious studies. He is a forever student, and a self-diagnosed “Bibliophile”, believing there is no such thing as too many books.
Though Wes is originally from the Midwest, he fits in very well here in the Pacific Northwest. He finds immense enjoyment in the outdoors and the trifecta of hunting, fishing, and hiking. He is a fanatic for college basketball, his favorite teams being Indiana University and North Carolina.
Pastoral Ministry can often be an all-consuming job, but Wes lives the example of a kind and devoted leader who puts his family first. He is blessed beyond measure by his wife Jo, his kids Micah and Samantha, his daughter-in-law Sissy, and his favorite grandson Calvin.

Chad dekay
- Associate minister
Chad has been involved in ministry since he was 19 years old. He began serving at his home church, Fall Creek Christian, as a leader in both youth and children’s ministry. He received a degree in Pastoral Ministry from Bushnell University and graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Worship, Theology, and Art. Chad is a gifted teacher; he has worked as an adjunct professor at Bushnell University, and currently teaches at the Bridge Charter Academy. Chad was ordained in 2015 by Dayspring Fellowship in Eugene Oregon, where he served for eight years as the lead Pastor. He was brought on as the Associate Minister at Santa Clara Church in the Summer of 2022. Chad and his amazing wife Rebecca have two lovely daughters, Eleanor, and Eliza, and are expecting a baby boy.

Dustin Stuvick — Youth minister
Dustin is an Oregon Native. He first encountered Jesus in the last years of High School during a missions trip to Mexico, and was baptized as soon as he came home. After graduation he began volunteering as a leader in the youth ministry, and got to experience serving at a summer camp. Camp was something Dustin did not experience as a student, and as an adult he recognized just how powerful and fun it was. He began an internship with his church youth pastor, and began bible college a year later. Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree in ministry from Northwest College of the Bible.
As someone who did not grow up in church and was not familiar with the hope found in Jesus, Dustin had a dark view of the world and experienced intense struggles. It’s now his passion to guide students towards Jesus, and the hope in knowing that He will never leave them. While Dustin loves hunting and fishing, he is also an avid gamer- he’s been collecting consoles and games for years.

Chloe Weinkauf — Worship minister
Chloe was raised in a pastor's home in which music was deeply embedded. As a young adult, she participated in both jazz choir and musical theater. She has served in several areas of ministry including worship leading, youth and children’s ministry, preaching, and even being the custodian. Chloe graduated from Bushnell University in 2017 with a degree in Christian Ministry and Worship Arts, and has done volunteer missions work in Asia, Central America, and Europe. Chloe and her husband Jordan were married in March 2019, and made SCC their
home church in late 2020. Chloe is passionate about worship that is both authentic and theologically sound, and continues her education any chance she gets through reading material and learning new instruments. Jordan has worked at Camp Harlow here in Eugene for a
number of years. He serves Santa Clara Church as a deacon, and volunteers in the sound and tech department of the worship team. Jordan and Chloe have a rescue dog named Milo, and welcomed their first child, Walter, in the fall of 2022.

Shanna Gambill -
OFFice Administratior
Shanna has lived in Eugene and attended Santa Clara Church with her family for 18 years– which means, as she likes to point out, she’s been part of SCC longer than Minister Wes! She graduated from North
Eugene High School and attended LCC for a time before coming on board as the Office Administrator here at SCC. Shanna is a trained lifeguard and likes to swim in her spare time. Some of her greatest joys are spending time with her dog Buffy, and thinking of ways to mess with
Minister Wes.
